Beppe Grillo "Città private e pubblici graffiti" del 02/11/05
The walls of our city are very dirty they’re full of colours invented signatures etc…. We are accustomed of this degrade.
We note the difference only when we see a clean building and we surprised.
Even if is more ugly a dark grey building that a “tag”.
The graffiti are the symbol of the city-rubbish, they’re a kind of certificate.
The zero tolerance to those guys who does this things is not useful.
We must change the people’s spaces and we have to give it back to them starting from the teenagers.
A studio certificate that the phenomenon of graffiti is connected with the missing of public spaces, green areas, gardens e meeting places in the city.
In the private city where everything belong to somebody, where everything is of cement, the graffiti are like virus, they’re everywhere.
They’re a kind of social-refuse. An social aggression to the person who watch it.
The graffiti are from the execs of private property exactly like the advertisement that still us time and imagine and they’re boring us even when we walk.
